The City of Concord is in the process of updating its Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan, which was adopted in 2009.
This process will include a full reevaluation of all City infrastructure such as parks, buildings, sidewalks, and curb ramps. There will also be assessments of current policies and procedures for all services that are provided to the public, such as online services and web pages, recreational services, permit center services, finance services, and general customer service.
To share information about this process and solicit community input, Concord's ADA Coordinator will be holding a community meeting on this topic on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. in the Council Chamber, 1950 Parkside Drive. Access will also be available through a Zoom webinar.
