On May 2, the Concord City Council amended the composition of the Homeless Strategic Plan Working Group to include the addition of two representatives.
Concord is now recruiting for one representative who is a part of, or has experience working with, the LGBTQI+ community, and one representative who is an active owner or manager of a Concord based business. Applications for these two positions are due to the City Clerk by Friday, May 26, at 5 p.m.
The Working Group will assist the City as it develops its Homeless Strategic Plan and act as an advisory body to Council, staff, and project consultants. The Group meets in person once per month, at minimum, for approximately nine to 12 months. Members are expected to attend and participate in all meetings.
Interested applicants are encouraged to attend the next meeting scheduled for Monday, May 22, at the Concord Senior Center, 2727 Parkside Circle, beginning at 6 p.m.
