California's General Election is on Tuesday, Nov. 8. To make voting convenient for all residents, Contra Costa County has 37 secure ballot boxes open throughout the county, including two locations in Concord. Be sure to drop off your ballot before 8 p.m. on Nov. 8.
To accommodate the high volume of ballots typically received at Concord City Hall, a second secure ballot box was recently installed at 1950 Parkside Drive. The other Concord location is 1990 Market Street.
To find a box near you, please visit: https://www.contracostavote.gov/elections/how-to-vote/voting-by-mail/ and click on the "Official Ballot Drop Boxes" tab.
All registered California voters were sent a vote-by-mail ballot, but if you prefer to vote in person, you can do so at your local polling place between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Nov. 8. You can also send in your ballot via the U.S. Postal Service (regular mail). Postage is not required, but your ballot must be postmarked by Nov. 8.
