Members of the Concord community are invited to participate in the City's Housing and Economic Development (HED) Council Committee meeting on Wednesday, July 28 to share ideas related to issues of homelessness in Concord.
At the June 1 City Council meeting, the HED Committee was tasked with developing a process and approach to define appropriate next steps toward addressing the community’s concerns and priorities related to our unhoused residents.
Members of the community and all interested parties are encouraged to attend the meeting to share their thoughts and ideas. The Committee’s recommendations will be considered by the full Council at a future meeting. If you prefer to submit written comments, please send them to CityClerk@cityofconcord.org and they will be made part of the public record. If you submit them prior to 3 p.m. on July 28, they will be published to the City’s website prior to the meeting.
The HED meeting will be held in the Council Chamber, 1950 Parkside Drive, on July 28, beginning at 5:30 p.m. A Spanish language translator will be available. Please note, Council Committee meetings are not televised or recorded.
