Vaccine Clinics at Concord High Schools May 18-June 5. The Mt. Diablo Unified School District has teamed up with Contra Costa Health Services, Kaiser Permanente and the Contra Costa County Office of Education to make sure everyone can get a safe, effective COVID-19 vaccine, which is now available to everyone age 12 and older.
To help families find a convenient vaccination opportunity, Concord High School, Ygnacio Valley High School and Mt. Diablo High School are hosting NO-COST clinics from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following dates:
- Concord High School: May 18-22
- Ygnacio Valley High School: May 25-29
- Mt. Diablo High School: June 1-5
Everyone is welcome, including students who are 12 or older, family members and members of the community. Appointments are also available through the county’s scheduling page or by calling 1-833-829-2626.
The vaccine (Pfizer) requires two doses to provide full protection, so new patients at the clinic will receive follow-up appointments. People younger than 18 need permission from a parent – so, parents, please provide the consent form for your child or come in person, especially if you need a vaccine, too!
Information and scheduling will also be available for required school immunization booster vaccines, such as Tdap.
Getting vaccinated is the most effective way of protecting ourselves, our families and other students from getting COVID-19.
