The City of Concord did not receive enough applications by incumbents for the Community Services Commission and Central Contra Costa Transit Authority (CCCTA) Advisory Committee, so the recruitment has been extended by five days to June 18, 2021, per Policy and Procedure No. 89. Applications are now due to the City Clerk by Friday, June 18, 2021, at 5:00 p.m.
Community Services Commission – the Commission is seeking four (4) individuals willing to serve a four-year term ending June 30, 2025, and one (1) individual willing to serve the remainder of a four-year term ending June 30, 2023.
Central Contra Costa Transit Authority (CCCTA) Advisory Committee – the Committee is seeking one (1) individual willing to serve the remainder of a two-year term ending December 31, 2022. (Recommendation by the City Council; appointment by CCCTA Board of Directors.)

At its May 11 meeting, the Concord City Council announced recruitments for openings on several City boards and commissions. Applications are due to the City Clerk by Friday, June 11, 2021, at 5:00 p.m.
Commission on Aging – the Commission is seeking six (6) individuals willing to serve a four-year term ending June 30, 2025.
Community Services Commission – the Commission is seeking four (4) individuals willing to serve a four-year term ending June 30, 2025, and one (1) individual willing to serve the remainder of a four-year term ending June 30, 2023.
Concord Pleasant Hill Health Care District Grant Committee – the Committee is seeking three (3) individuals willing to serve a four-year term ending June 30, 2025, and one (1) individual willing to serve the remainder of a four-year term ending June 30, 2023.
Parks, Recreation and Open Space Commission – the Commission is seeking three (3) individuals willing to serve a four-year term ending June 30, 2025, and two (2) students ages 13-21 willing to serve as youth members for the 2021/2022 school year.
