[ARCHIVED] Construction Permit & Inspection Update

May 4 Updates Revised

The City of Concord’s Community & Economic Development Department announced that beginning on May 4, ALL construction project types are allowed and ALL inspections will be performed in Concord, in accordance with the County’s latest public health order.

Safety protocols for both large and small construction projects must be followed and can be found in the County’s new health order, issued on April 29, 2020.

If safety protocols and social distancing are not being followed during inspections, inspectors may refuse service and report the violations to the County Health Officer.

The City of Concord’s Permit Center office will remain closed through the month of May, but Concord’s Virtual Permit Center is open and ready to serve you! For more information, please visit our Building web page.
