[ARCHIVED] Stay-Home Order Extended to May 31

Seven Bay Area public health departments, including Contra Costa Health Services, have extended the existing shelter-in-place orders through May 31.

The new orders ease restrictions on construction projects, real estate transactions, outdoor businesses, and some recreational activities. Social distancing requirements, such as maintaining six-feet of distance with others and wearing a face covering when out in public to combat COVID-19, still apply. People at high risk of severe illness from COVID-19 and people who are sick are strongly urged to stay in their residence, except as needed for medical care.

As the City of Concord determines how the County’s new order will affect City operations, we will update our COVID-19 web pages and communicate the information to our community through our new e-newsletter and social media channels.

For more information about the new order, please visit: www.coronavirus.cchealth.org/health-orders. Residents can also call the Contra Costa County Coronavirus Call Center at (844) 729-8410 daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
