Homeless Strategic Plan

The City of Concord is developing a strategic plan to address the crisis of homelessness in our community. The Plan will help assess gaps in services, clarify community goals, identify strategies and help set priorities for funding investments to effectively respond to and prevent homelessness.

Community Meetings 

There will be two community meetings in November designed to share updates on the Homeless Strategic Plan project including Vision Statement, Goals and timeline. Community members will have a chance to provide feedback and ask questions. 

  • Wednesday November 15 at 6PM virtual via Zoom. Spanish translation available.
  • Thursday November 16 at 6PM in person at the Concord Senior Center located at 2727 Parkside Circle 


The Homeless Strategic Plan Working Group will meet at 6 p.m.

  • Monday, October 23 at the Concord Senior Center 2727 Parkside Circle

Background Report Opens in new window

The draft Background Report on Homelessness was presented to City Council at the June 27, 2023 Council Meeting. This report provides a comprehensive overview of the data collected to help us understand the state of homelessness in the City of Concord. Information in this report will be included in the complete Homeless Strategic Plan.
