Concord Police Headquarters
Located at the corner of Galindo and Laguna Streets, the PD Headquarters is a
"state of the art" police facility designed to enhance the Concord Police Department's
Community Oriented Policing and Community Oriented Government efforts.


Quick Facts about the Concord PD

  • The Concord police department is nationally and internationally recognized as a leader in Community Oriented Policing.
  • The Police Department authorized staffing includes 160 sworn officers, 66 non-sworn full-time employees, 48 part-time personnel and approximately 65 volunteers.
  • Although the police department is open for business 24 hours a day, certain functions are available to the public during core hours. Those areas are listed below:

Community Service Desk (PD Headquarters Front Lobby)

Open 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Monday through Saturday; 8:00 am to 10:00 pm Sundays (closed City holidays).

Services offered at the Community Service Desk include police reports by phone, bicycle registration, fingerprinting / Livescan, merchant reports, and the availability of community meeting rooms.

Records Bureau

Open to the public Monday through Friday, 7:30 am- 5:30 pm, and limited services are available on Saturdays (closed City holidays).

In addition to collecting fees for the Police Department for a variety of programs, the Records Bureau releases records information to the public including police reports and clearance letters.

District Field Offices

Open to the public Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Field offices serve a critical role in Concord's Community Oriented Policing program, providing a gathering place for neighborhood meetings as well as a more localized office with which to access Police services.

Many police services can be completed at your local district field office.
