City of Concord Senior Center
Citizens are encouraged to visit the Senior Center
to find out what’s available for them and to get involved
Welcome!
- Concord’s Senior Center is a gathering place for citizens to broaden their horizons and to stimulate their minds, bodies, and spirits.
- The Center provides Concord residents more than a hundred recreational, social, medical, educational, nutritional and cultural services and programs.
- By offering essential services, beneficial activities and special functions, the Center has become a multi-service location providing one-stop shopping for seniors and where the staff members welcome and strive to serve seniors and their families.
- The guiding philosophy is that seniority is not about getting old – it’s about staying young, feeling good and being well.
How does one find out what’s going on at the Center?
- Visit the Center front desk for publications and fliers. Read the bulletin boards. Ask questions.
- Several publications contain information about upcoming events:
- Seniority: a quarterly publication produced by the Senior Center and available at its reception desk.
- The Activity Guide: published quarterly by the City of Concord and mailed to its residents. Copies are available at the reception desk.
- Seniors on the Go: a Senior Citizens Club monthly newsletter, mailed only to its members. Copies are often available at the Club’s office, across the lobby from the reception desk.
