Develops specific plans as necessary, making recommendations to the City Council regarding proposed General Plan amendments and municipal code modifications, and reviews planned district developments, tentative subdivision maps, and use permit applications.

Meeting Time: first and third Wednesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m.

Location: Study sessions held in the Permit Center Conference Room at 6:00 p.m. preceding each regular meeting. Most regular meetings held in the Council Chamber, Concord Civic Center.

General Information About the Planning Commission Agenda Process

The agenda for the regular Planning Commission meetings will be posted at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting. If held, study sessions occur before the regularly-scheduled Planning Commission meeting, and start at either 6:00 or 6:30 p.m. Planning Commission meetings are televised live on cable Channel 28 and cable Channel 29 on the first and third Wednesdays.

Meeting dates are subject to consolidation, change, or cancellation contingent upon City scheduling requirements. Contact Planning Division at (925) 671-3152 to confirm meeting dates.

Attached Reports represent a detailed description of the item being considered and the action recommended by City staff.
