    Participate in the Complete Streets Project and give feedback that will help improve the comfort and safety of bicyclists, pedestrians, transit users and motorists in Concord! Visit us at the last Music and Market in Todos Santos Plaza on Thursday, September 26 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. to view and comment on the City’s recommendations for the Willow Pass Road, Cowell Road and Galindo Street Complete Streets Projects. Based on public feedback, a preferred design alternative will be developed and refined, leading to a plan for each corridor that responds to the needs of the community.   1. 10th Annual Mayors’ Healthy Cook-Off

    Join us in the Plaza for the 10th Annual Mayors' Healthy Cook-Off on Thursday, September 26 from 4-7 p.m. Come watch Mayors from across Contra Costa County compete to create the most inspiring, simple and budget-friendly recipes they can. The 1st place trophy will go to the team who scores the highest in the categories of healthiness, taste, sustainable handling of waste, budget-friendly and creativity. Certificates will be awarded to 2nd and 3rd place winners. Each team will consist of a city and restaurant representative along with a Sous Chef from Mt. Diablo High School. Cooking will begin at 4:30 p.m., with judging and awards beginning at 6:00 p.m. Residents are invited to observe the friendly competition and learn more about healthy eating.
