New voting equipment available for test drive

Contra Costa County poll workers are invited to test drive Contra Costa County's new voting equipment.

Concord is partnering with the Contra Costa Elections Division to host opportunities for poll workers to practice with and learn about the County's new ballot scanner and ballot marking device.

The equipment will be available Tuesday and Wednesday, May 15 and 16, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Council Chamber at Civic Center, 1950 Parkside Dr. No appointment is necessary and Elections staff will be available to answer any questions.

The equipment will be at all of Contra Costa County's 271 polling places for the June 5, 2018 Primary Election and at all seven Regional Early Voting locations from May 29 through June 2.
