Health Expo at Concord Senior Center next month

Mark your calendars for next month's Age Strong, Live Long Health Expo, a free one-day event on Friday, Feb. 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Concord Senior Center, 2727 Parkside Circle in Concord.

Over 40 vendors and service providers will provide valuable information to seniors and family members. Admission is free and the event includes raffle prizes and giveaways. A free tote bag will be distributed to the first 500 attendees.

Participants can have their blood pressure and hearing checked, consult pharmacists, and have their balance evaluated. Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) will be on hand to talk about volunteer opportunities. Information will be available from vendors on safety topics, how to avoid scams, and other issues important to seniors.
