Sign up today for Concord blood drive August 22

What: City of Concord Blood Drive
When: Tuesday, Aug. 22, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Concord 1 Auditorium at John Muir Medical Center. 2540 East Street, Concord

The City of Concord and the American Red Cross are partnering to host a blood drive on Tuesday, Aug. 22 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at John Muir Medical Center, Auditorium 1, 2540 East Street, Concord.

To schedule an appointment, visit and enter sponsor code: CONCORD or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).

A blood donor card or driver's license, or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are at least 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.
