Concord Human Relations Commission seeks nominations for awards
The Concord Human Relations Commission (HRC) seeks nominations for its 21st annual recognition awards.
Each year, the HRC honors individuals and business organizations that have contributed to the betterment of human relations in the Concord community. The public is invited to submit nominations in the categories of Community Involvement, Education and Awareness, Humanitarian, Lifelong Achievement, Youth Scholarship, Random Acts of Kindness, or Women Making a Difference.
Deadline for nominations is Friday, February 8. Nominees will be recognized at the HRC meeting on March 3, which will take place at Civic Center, 1950 Parkside Drive in the City Council Chamber. The meeting will be televised on local government cable TV, channel 28 (Comcast) and 29 (Astound). A reception will immediately follow the meeting.
