About Senior citizens club membership
The Senior Citizens Club is an independent 501(c)3 organization that has an office inside the Concord Senior Center. We run most of the non-instructional activities during the weekdays between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Membership with the club gives you access to these activities(small fees dependent on activity) as well as a monthly newsletter.
The Concord Senior Citizens Club is proud to present 2 activities that will be starting up soon. Please plan to wear a mask and keep social distancing in mind.
The Bread Program will operate on Saturdays, beginning Nov. 7th from 9 to 11am. Everyone will be expected to drive-thru and indicate their interest and make their selection. Volunteers will bag the selections and bring the bag to your car. A donation jar will be available.
The Book & Puzzle exchange program will operate on Wednesdays, beginning Nov. 4th, from 10am to 12 noon. Books and puzzles will be available on carts from which you can select to pick out and take---and/or drop off books and puzzles to share with others.
Everyone is expected to wear a mask at all times while participating. The Volunteers helping with the program wear masks and gloves and use hand sanitizers.
We hope to see everyone again soon, when it is safe to re-open the Center. If you have any questions or comments, you can email us at concord.seniors@yahoo.com or call the NEW number at 925-914-6500 (voicemail available).
