The Concord Community Pool, at 3501 Cowell Rd is one of the City's most popular facilities, serving approximately 124,000 swimmers per year in our award winning learn to swim classes, our lap swim, recreational swim and water exercises programs, as well as serving as a place for many swim teams to practice.
We are happy to announce that Concord Community Pool’s re-plastering project has been completed ahead of schedule! Lane lines are installed, backstroke flags are hung, lifeguard stands are in place, pool temp is up to a warm 80 degrees and the weather is forecasted to be near perfect spring conditions for a Monday️, March 18 REOPENING!
During the closure, the pool received all-new plaster, all-new lane markers and targets, all-new tile on the inner and outer edge of the pool, and the shallow end steps were rebuilt. We also took this time to tackle several behind-the-scenes maintenance items such as the replacement of a key valve on the return line to the pools pump, resealing the pools surge pit and replacement of the toilets and urinals in the restrooms with low-flow, water-saving models.
