The City of Concord’s Community Development Department, or CDD, is home to several divisions, which work together to maintain and improve the quality of life for residents and visitors. From Planning and Housing, to Transportation, Building and Engineering, CDD focuses on enhancing the quality of life for Concord’s residents and businesses.

Building Division
The Building Division provides plan checking, permit administration, and inspection services for new construction, additions, and remodels of residential and non-residential projects within the City of Concord.

PERMIT CENTER HOURS
While our Virtual Permit Center is open and we are processing all applications electronically and performing inspections on all project types, our physical Permit Center office is closed during the SIP Order until further notice. Office staff is available for phone and email inquires Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
